The Royal Castle of Niemodlin 1313 conquers the hearts of tourists. He obtained the Internauts' Certificate - the Best Tourist Product and took the first place in the voting Top Castles and Palaces. The competition was prepared by the Polish Tourist Organization.
The castle was built in 1313 by the prince family Bolesław I to defend the Opole region. He survived wars, conquests and a great fire.
After World War II, the castle was the seat of PUR, high school and non-commissioned officer's school. Then he stood for 10 years.
Since 2015, the castle is in the hands of Polish owners, who bought it from the Italians, opened it for visitors and restore its former splendor.
The Niemodlin castle attracts tourists with underground tunnels, hidden rooms, torture rooms, an amber chamber, a vast garden with natural monuments. The castle can also be visited at night.
